- Connect communities with their water resources through hands on involvement and education, and
- Allow access to water quality information for educational purposes.
Training Program:
Morning: Learn about water chemistry and the equipment used for stream monitoring
Afternoon: Practice collecting, analyzing and recording water quality data and identifying water critters at a nearby stream.
Optional Training:
Learn and practice entering stream monitoring results into the Westchester County Citizens' Volunteer Monitoring Program.
